Orac, global leader and manufacturer of architectural wall elements, sought a new way to showcase their products at Salone del Mobile, one that transcends the traditional booth design format. Orac unveiled The Grand Interlude, an intimate booth that marks a bold evolution in the brand’s visual identity. Imagined as a journey through interconnected rooms, the design invites visitors on a sensorial journey, where each space unfolds into the next with sculptural elegance and emotional depth. While echoing the formal language of Orac’s Ostend showroom headquarters, this installation asserts its own distinctive rhythm and atmosphere.

The experience begins in a moody, velvet-accented lobby with a bespoke counter and playful key wall, setting the tone for what follows. Each room reveals a distinct palette: deep chocolate brown, bold mustard, blush pink, lacquered blue, punctuated by arches, glossy textures, and Orac’s signature wall ornaments. Sculptural lighting elements act as visual anchors, establishing a steady pulse as the visitor moves through the space.

Material samples are seamlessly integrated into columns and architectural forms, presented with the finesse of a curated gallery. With its tactile richness, cosmopolitan flair, and cinematic tension, The Grand Interlude transcends the traditional trade booth, it becomes a world apart, one that piques curiosity, stirs emotion, and celebrates the artistry of architectural detail.
